My new dishes - was this too typical of a "guy" choice? Not that I really care cuz' I like 'em.

The official dinnerware of Switzerland...dead neutral gray. Gray is the basic indecisive color.
I have nothing against the color as such, but food looks tasty on a white plate. The colors look more vivid and the food automatically looks better. Ditto for black plates. I'm wondering what a dull gray backdrop will do for the eye appeal of a meal.
