Double Dumbass: Man Sues Himself Over Truck/Car Accident - Curtis Gokey was driving a dump truck for the city of Lodi, California when backed into a parked car. Gokey admitted it was his fault and the owner of the car submitted a claim to the city for $3600 in damages. The only problem is, Gokey also owns the car he ran into. When the city denied the claim (because Gokey WAS at fault) he took the unusual move of filing a lawsuit using his wife Rhonda's name. City Attorney Steve Schwabauer said this case lacks merit because Rhonda Gokey can't sue her own husband as the couple is considered one unit in the community property state.
