Can you frickin' believe it??

My car was broken into... again... Saturday night. So I spent this morning putting my car back into the shop and getting a rental car. Unlike last time this happened (in December) it wasn't a quick smash and grab - whoever did it this time completely rifled the car for anything they could use. They even stole my registration and insurance information.

I try not to dwell on it, as I get beyond angry thinking about it. The detachable faceplate of the stereo was in my apartment (not in the car) and it has a security code on top of that, so I get a small amount of pleasure that what was taken is now completely useless to the thief (thieves).

I am considering an official name change to "Charlie Brown".

More to come later.

Liger

Yeah, Napoleon Dynamite's favorite animal, bred for thier abilities in magic. Well it turns out the Liger is an actual animal. In fact, as far as big cats go, they are the biggest. Check out Hercules. Click on the picture for more.

I have this sample....

of me playing the drums last year during Hedwig and the Angry Inch, so I thought I would share with you. The sound quality isn't great, but if you listen you should get an idea of what I am capable of as a drummer. Plus the song kicks some pretty serious arse.

Feedback anyone?

And kids wonder why

adults are always "telling them what to do." Let's use this story as a prime example of what happens when left to their own devices.

Can you imagine being the car behind that bus?

Came across this one...

A Texas town is about to run out of water. This stunned me as I read this. You hear about drought or famine, but that's always somewhere else like Africa. The fact that something like this could happen in the "Land-O-Plenty" is unsettling. To the residents of the town, I say "move to where the water is."

Seriously, good luck to you all.

What is up

with all the church burnings in Alabama (not Atlanta... thanks Jeff)? There doesn't seem to be any rhyme nor reason to it. I really don't get this...

Regardless of your particular religious idealogy, be it Catholic or Protestant, Jewish or Gentile, Muslim or Buddhist or ANY denomination -- the most basic tenets are the same: Love one another and treat others as you want to be treated. What part of these philosophies lends itself to negative criticism, much less the anger and ire needed to deem it necessary to burn their places of worship to the ground?

No -- seriously -- the stereotypes are not true...

This just in from MSNBC: Pregnant wife’s 15-year-old husband runs away.

When you read this, all you can do is hold your hands up and say "See?" Long live NASCAR.

YEAH!!!

My FTP issues have been resolved (thanks Nick!). To celebrate, enjoy this picture of Kate. Her website has a ton of great pictures, though not for the kiddies.

Almost a week...

since my last post. Sorry about that. New job, and working on some computer developments at home. Will give a full update in the next couple of days.
